Claire Weeks Park

Residents and visitors can enjoy 2.3 acres of green space equipped with mature trees, bench seating throughout, grills, playground equipment, swings, a ramada, picnic tables, and a gazebo. Many families use the park for birthday parties and special occasions. The Neighborhood Association also uses the park for community events. Please note that there are no public bathrooms.
Who Is Claire Weeks?
Claire Weeks was a past president of our neighborhood association and served 14 years. During her years in office, she worked tirelessly to establish a good working relationship with the elementary and high schools, community pool, businesses, and churches in the neighborhood. She obtained grants that brought playground equipment, lighting, and a gazebo to Terra Del Sol Park. Since these upgrades, many have been able to utilize the park for weddings, parties, and neighborhood events. Claire also helped organize groups to clean the washes in the neighborhood, paint over graffiti, patrol the neighborhood at night, and created a social group for neighborhood seniors. Our park is aptly named after her in honor of all her hard work and dedication to our community.
Terra Del Sol Aquatic Club
Since 1959, Terra Del Sol Aquatic Club has been a place where people can gather, grow friendships, and create long-lasting summer memories. It offers a 4-lane, 25-yard pool as well as a 1-foot wading pool for youngsters. Membership is required for regular use of the pool. For pricing and more info, please click below.
