Wheeler Elementary School and Palo Verde High School have been serving Terra Del Sol families for decades. Wheeler opened in 1959 and Palo Verde opened in 1962. Several Terra Del Sol residents not only attended these schools, but many have seen their kids and even grandkids attend too! Our association values supporting these schools when we can. We have a liaison with Wheeler who lets us know about volunteer opportunities, and the Terra Del Sol pool proudly hosts the Palo Verde swim team’s practices.

Wheeler Elementary is a K-5 school within the Tucson Unified School District. Wheeler offers an array of programs such as the Gifted and Talented program (GATE), OMA Fine Arts, and an inclusive preschool. Palo Verde High School

Palo Verde High School is home to the Titans! Palo Verde is a magnet school within the Tucson Unified School District with an emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).
